With connection meaning more to her than things like era or genre, Beth's music doesn’t fit neatly into a category. It has been described as soulful, swinging, sad, and sultry, with elements of gospel, jazz, country, and contemporary singer/songwriter mixed in. In 2022 she released her seventh studio recording, called “Paint Me Blue.” Her favorites include Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy, Sara Bareilles, Diana Krall, Harry Nilsson, Ben Platt, Michael Buble, and Billy Joel. In addition to co-writing and performing a tribute show for Peggy Lee, over the last 15 years she has appeared in jazz festivals, ticketed concerts, and church, corporate, and private events, most often with her longtime accompanist and collaborator Joe Holt on piano.
